The Strategy for Community Mental Health website (Together4CMH.ca) was developed to serve as a central platform for advancing mental health initiatives, fostering community engagement, and promoting accessible resources. This initiative was a partnership between the Canadian Mental Health Association (Edmonton Region), the United Way, and the City of Edmonton.
My role involved designing and building a website that reflects the initiative’s vision while providing an intuitive user experience.
Key aspects of the project included:
User-Centered Design: Crafted a clean, approachable interface to ensure the website resonates with diverse audiences, from policymakers to community members seeking mental health resources.
Clear Navigation and Accessibility: Designed an intuitive structure that simplifies access to key information, such as the strategy's pillars, goals, and supporting resources, while adhering to accessibility standards.
Brand Alignment: Incorporated the Strategy for Community Mental Health's branding elements to maintain consistency and reinforce its mission of uniting stakeholders for community mental health improvement.
Dynamic Content Management: Leveraged a flexible content management system, enabling the organization to easily update content, share news, and manage resources as their initiatives evolve.
Community Engagement Features: Integrated tools to encourage interaction and collaboration, such as forms for stakeholder feedback and opportunities for partnership.
The result is a visually engaging and functional website that acts as a cornerstone for the Strategy for Community Mental Health's efforts to drive impactful change in community mental health.
